Contractors
City Seeking Contractors
The city is seeking contractors who can provide remodeling, repair, and rehabilitation to foreclosed properties. Please contact the Housing and Real Estate Division for more information.
About the Program
Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) is part of the national effort to restore homes and renew neighborhoods hit hardest by the recent housing crisis. The NSP signals opportunity for homebuyers and stronger neighborhoods with reinvestments that go straight to the heart of our community. The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) was created to respond to rising residential foreclosures and property abandonment and the main purpose of the NSP is to stabilize neighborhoods negatively impacted by foreclosures. The City of Fort Myers uses NSP funds to assist with acquisition, repair, and sale of foreclosed homes to create suitable housing for families in Fort Myers.
