Division Chief Pullen
The mission of the Training Division is to provide training and employee development in order to ensure effective, efficient, and safe
emergency response. Fire Department training is focused on improving knowledge, skills, and abilities in areas related to our response
capabilities and to continue to develop our personnel for professional and personal growth. The Training Division is overseen by a Division
Chief who develops the annual training plan which is then delivered through the assistance of Field Training Coordinators, Company
Officers, and subject matter experts. The Training Division is also responsible for the Fire Department’s Health and Safety Program. This
includes coordination of Peer Fitness Initiatives to improve the overall health of the firefighters and maintenance of various related
programs such as Respiratory Protection and Infection Control.
