Cheryl Thornton Earns FRA-RP Designation

Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency Fiscal Manager Cheryl Thornton

The FRA’s Redevelopment Professional designation is granted through their Redevelopment Academy, which provides a program of classes that promote a high level of knowledge and professionalism in the field of redevelopment. The goals of the academy are as follows:

  • To educate concerning the benefits of and need for economic redevelopment
  • To provide an industry standard for professional redevelopers in the State of Florida
  • To provide a service and benefit to the FRA membership while promoting the services offered by the Florida Redevelopment Association
  • To provide practical, practitioner-based education of consistently high quality

Ms. Thornton is the Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency's Fiscal Manager. She has been with the Agency since September 2018.
