Second public input meeting on STARS programs takes place February 4 at Billy Bowlegs Park

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Feb. 3, 2020) – The City of Fort Myers STARS program (Success Through Academic and Recreational Support) is holding meetings to gather public input on programs and services including, but not limited to, afterschool activities, summer camps, educational enrichment services, athletic offerings, and community programming. A second public meeting is being held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4 at Billy Bowlegs Park, 951 Marsh Avenue, Fort Myers (the first meeting took place on January 29 at the STARS Complex).

Representatives from the STARS Advisory Board, members of the Community Forum, and the STARS Center Director will facilitate the discussion regarding past successes and challenges, current programs and new opportunities. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and give input on the future programming of this integral community resource.
