FORT MYERS, Fla. (Nov. 13, 2020) – An inauguration ceremony for the mayor and city council will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 16 at the Riverside Community Center, located at 3061 East Riverside Drive, Fort Myers. The official administrative swearing in will be later the same day at the regular city council meeting at 4:30 p.m. in City Hall.
The swearing in ceremonies follow the November 3, 2020 municipal elections for mayor and the Ward 2, Ward 4, and Ward 6 city council seats. A limited number of family members and colleagues may attend the event. Attendees are asked to observe social distancing measures and comply with all CDC guidelines.

Kevin Anderson will be sworn in as mayor of the City of Fort Myers. Returning council members include Johnny W. Streets, Jr. (Ward 2) and Liston “Lin” Bochette III (Ward 4). Newly elected council member Darla Betzer Bonk will represent Ward 6.
