Posted on: March 10, 2022[ARCHIVED] Emergency Message from the City of Fort Myers

Dear Residents,
We are still under hurricane conditions. Please be safe and stay indoors as this storm passes!
Our emergency teams are alert and preparing to respond to calls and assess conditions throughout the city as soon as wind speeds permit. At this time, we do have reports of some infrastructure damage in both the city and the county.
We are asking residents to PLEASE CONSERVE WATER as much as possible to allow our post-emergency teams to respond.
Additionally, it’s imperative that all residents stay indoors.
The City of Fort Myers has issued an emergency citywide curfew to protect and safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of residents, visitors, and first responders. The curfew will be in effect beginning at 6PM for the next 48 hours. We thank you for your cooperation as our teams assess damages and help those in need.
If you have an emergency, please continue to contact 911 for assistance.
Once again, we appreciate your cooperation.
