We are extremely grateful to receive water and non-perishable food items at this time.
Those who are in need of a safe haven, we strongly urge you to take advantage of our shelters. They have food and water. You should take clothing, snacks, bedding/pillows, book/magazines, chargers, etc… all the items you’ll need to sustain the next couple of days if necessary.

WATER AND ELECTRIC
At this time, many residents in the city are without water or electricity. The storm caused damages to our infrastructure, as it did throughout Lee County.
However, we are currently working to fix the electrical needs in order to begin providing these services again as soon as possible. Many residents are beginning to regain electricity throughout the city and water conditions are also improving. We really appreciate your patience as we work through all these challenges.
DEBRI COLLECTION AND TRASH PICKUP
Our crews and first responders have been out helping those in need since the winds fell below 45 mph. We would like to thank our community for being so helpful! Residents have been helping us so much by gathering debris and piling it on the curb. We are making our way through the city as quickly as possible.
Our Solid Waste Division will resume normal pick-up for residential trash only on Monday
Please do not put out recycling until further notice
We have placed instructions of how to divide your waste on our website
