A BOIL WATER NOTICE IS STILL IN EFFECT!
We would like to thank our residents for all your help as we work nonstop to return our city to normalcy. It will take us a while to rebuild after Hurricane Ian, but we are strong, resilient and united in the face of adversity. Since winds subsided, our crews and first responders have been out in the community clearing roads and managing emergencies. We are gathering information about which stores are currently open to provide those details as well.
DONATIONS
We are extremely grateful to receive water and non-perishable food items at this time.
WATER AND ELECTRIC
The storm caused damages to our infrastructure, as it did throughout Lee County.
At this time, most communities in the city have regained water service from the city.
However, we are currently working to fix the electrical needs in order to begin providing these services again as soon as possible. Many residents are beginning to regain electricity throughout the city and water conditions are also improving. We really appreciate your patience as we work through all these challenges.
MEDICATION
CVS has informed us that their stores will be filling prescriptions. We recommend you call the store in advance to ensure it is open.
