4:40PM: Water has been restored to the 38 homes that were previously without water. Work continues to contain the breaks.
7:15PM: Crews continue to work on the breaks. They have identified the location of the second break. A 20-foot section of pipe was split along the bottom.
8:37PM: The work continues; the breaks have not yet been contained.

As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
As a best practice, the water is tested for a minimum of 48 hours following the declaration of the precautionary boil water notice. At that point, the results are provided to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, which will then determine whether the precautionary boil water notice may be rescinded, or additional testing is required.
