How do I report a safety concern?
If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911.
We hope that all citizens and visitors to the City will notify us when they observe a potential safety concern. When members of the community are the eyes and ears of the City, we can more efficiently address streets, potholes, sidewalks, lights, parks, buildings, and other City facilities that may need attention. To report a concern, please contact Risk Management at

How do I submit a claim?
In the event you need to file a property damage or injury claim with the City, you can submit the
City’s claim form
along with your receipts for damage to
Risk@cityftmyers.com
or via USPS mail to City of Fort Myers, Attn: Risk Management, PO Box 2217, Fort Myers, 33902. Once all documentation is received, the City will evaluate your claim and contact you.

How do I report a concern for the manner in which an employee is driving in a City vehicle?
Please submit your concerns via email to
Risk@cityftmyers.com
or during the regular business of 7 am – 5pm, you may call Human Resources at 239-321-7073. The following information will help in the review of the incident – the City’s vehicle number, date, time, and location of the incident, and a detailed account of your concerns.
