1. What are your hours of operation?

Monday – Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.;

Saturday: 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Pending event/athletic schedule); Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (pending event/athletic schedule)

Holidays: Closed

2. What are your rental rates?

3. Do you offer summer, winter and spring break camps and what are their costs?

Summer Camp (9 weeks)

• This program is for children ages 6 through 14 years old.
• There is a $15.00 Registration Fee.
• $200 per child for City resident (starting October 1st)
• $100 per child for City employees that are City residents (starting October 1st)
• $250 per child for non-resident (starting October 1st)
• $125 per child for City employee that are non-residents (starting October 1st)
• Hours of operation are 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday (Closed the 4th of July)

Winter Camp (2 weeks)

• This program is for children ages 6 through 14 years old
• $35 per child per week for City resident (starting October 1st)
• $50 per child per week for non-resident (starting October 1st)
• Hours of operation are 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday (Closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day)

Spring Camp (1 week)

• This program is for children ages 6 through 14 years old
• $35 per child per week (starting October 1st)
• $50 per child per week (starting October 1st)
• Hours of operation are 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday

4. What information can you give me on your afterschool program?

This program is for children ages 6 through 14 years old. The cost for City Residents is as follows: $50 per child per session (represents half of a school year), $100 per school year. The cost for non-City Residents is as follows: $60 per child per session, or $120 per school year (starting October 1st)

Hours of operation are 2:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. (general public allowed in after 6:00 p.m.).

Children are in age appropriate monitored groups and activities include: Homework assistance, Subject Matter Activities, Art, Music, and indoor/outdoor play activities. Enrollment is based on 1st come 1st served space availability. Must attend Parent meet prior to start of session. Contact STARS@cityftmyers.com or (239) 321-7545 for more information.

The STARS Complex also offer specialize middle school and teen programs for students in grades 6th-11th. Contact STARS@cityftmyers.com for more information.

5. I am no longer interested in a program, how do I get a refund?

Please submit a written request by email stars@cityftmyers.com with your name, the child’s name and name of the activity that they are enrolled in. Refund payment will be sent to the address on record. Please note that all refunds can take between 2-4 weeks to process.

6. My child was a member of the soccer program, will we resume after clearance from COVID-19?

All recreational and athletic activities have been suspended until further notice. The soccer program participants will receive their year end award in the mail.

7. Is there still going to be a summer camp program?

Yes, we are currently still scheduled to start our summer camp program on June 8, 2020. Parents will be updated with any changes.

8. Are there any spots left for the summer camp program? If so when can I register?

Yes there are still a few spots left at Billy Bowlegs, STARS East. We will release more information regarding a date for summer camp registration on May 5, 2020.

9. Is there going to be a teen program this summer?

No, however teens will have the opportunity to APPLY for Work and Volunteer opportunities for summer career experience.

10. How can I finish making payment for summer camp?

Payments can be made by phone (239-321-7545) Monday-Friday from 10am-2pm.
